12th National Gastroenterology Surgery Congress and 2nd National Liver Transplantation Congress

7 November 2024
12th National Gastroenterology Surgery Congress and 2nd National Liver Transplantation Congress

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 12th National Gastroenterology Surgery Congress and 2nd National Liver Transplantation Congress, which we will hold in Malatya on November 7-9, 2024. At this year's congress, the latest developments in the fields of gastroenterology surgery and liver transplantation will be addressed by scientists who are experts in their subjects. We will begin the first day with courses held in two separate halls on “cytoreduction and HIPEC, and liver transplantation and resections”. We believe these courses will offer a unique opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills.

During the remaining two days of our congress, we will focus in particular on the approach to liver metastases of gastrointestinal cancers and the latest developments in liver transplantation. In these sessions, new methods and treatment approaches for clinical practice will be discussed in depth. In addition, by adopting a multidisciplinary approach, we will enable participants from different specialties to share their views and experiences.

We will also invite expert speakers from abroad to our congress. The participation of these internationally renowned names will enhance the scientific richness and level of interaction of our congress. The exchange of knowledge with these experts from different countries will broaden your global perspective and expand your professional horizons. Furthermore, by making participation free for residents, we want our young colleagues to benefit from this valuable body of knowledge as well. Their energy and curiosity will add a special dynamism to our congress.

This year, by holding our congress in Malatya, we wished to commemorate those who lost their lives in last year's earthquake. On this occasion, in addition to our scientific activity, we also aim to strengthen our unity and solidarity. Accompanied by the historical and cultural riches of Malatya, while engaging in scientific exchange you will also have the opportunity to discover the beauties of the region.

Throughout our congress, in addition to the scientific sessions, we will also offer opportunities for social activities. By coming together with your colleagues, you can establish new connections, strengthen your existing relationships and create opportunities for collaboration on joint projects. In this sense, our congress will be not only a learning platform but also an environment in which you can expand your professional collaborations.

We invite you to this important event, where horizon-broadening scientific discussions and exchanges will take place and which will contribute to your professional development. Our congress will become even more meaningful with your valuable participation. With the hope of discovering and sharing together the innovations that will shape the future of gastroenterology surgery and liver transplantation, I extend my love and respect.
